An employee at a Cineplex theater in Prince George, British Columbia, took a creative approach when their workplace did not receive an official poster for the recent Spider-Man film, titled 'Brand New Day.' The movie has achieved significant box office success, becoming the highest-grossing domestic film release since Avengers: Endgame.

In an effort to promote one of the year's major releases, the Famous Players 6 cinema found itself without an official poster. In response, an employee decided to hand-draw their own.

The hand-drawn poster features an artistic interpretation of the 'Spoderman' meme, a recognizable, albeit crude, depiction of the web-slinging superhero that originated in early 2010s Dolan comics. The artwork is accompanied by a handwritten note explaining the situation: "Sorry! We never received the real posters! Sorry for any inconveniences!"

This unique marketing effort has since gained traction on social media. Commenters have praised the employee for choosing to create the poster by hand rather than utilizing AI. Some users suggested that Marvel might even consider making the fan-made poster an official alternate cover for the film's Blu-ray release.

The drawing was also highlighted by Canadian radio station 101.3 The River on Facebook. A user who identified themselves as the mother of another employee at the theater confirmed the artist's name as Drake, emphasizing that the poster has been a popular attraction, with patrons stopping to take pictures with it.

This instance follows another viral Spider-Man-related story involving Tom Holland's intense workout routine for his role in 'Brand New Day,' which has inspired fans and fitness enthusiasts to attempt it themselves.
