Two Point Studios is delving into theme park nostalgia with its latest downloadable content for Two Point Museum, titled Rides & Relics. This new expansion pays homage to Bullfrog Productions' 1994 classic, Theme Park, a game co-created by Two Point Studios founders Mark Webley and Gary Carr.

Rides & Relics introduces a wealth of new attractions and gameplay possibilities inspired by theme parks and funfairs. Players will embark on the Gearbox Fairground expedition, uncovering blueprints and perks that unlock over 17 new funfair-themed exhibits. These range from traditional amusements like pirate ships, haunted houses, and Ferris wheels to culinary stalls offering popcorn and candyfloss, and even a unique cheese flume.

A significant addition is the ability to construct custom mini-coasters. Players can adjust height, tilt, and camber, with five distinct coaster themes promised. The DLC also brings a new museum location, Riquetti Gardens, a new five-star campaign, and fresh gift shop merchandise. Themed items and decorations will be available to enhance the park atmosphere, including elements for the helipad, ticket desk, and benches.

To further engage visitors, ten unlockable mascot outfits can be acquired, allowing players to dress up their museum staff in distinctive costumes. This latest DLC follows previous expansions that have introduced zoo animals, art appreciation, and tabletop fantasy elements to the museum-management simulation.

Rides & Relics is priced at £9.99 and is set to launch on October 8th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A release for Nintendo Switch 2 is planned for "coming soon."
