A new partnership between Ubisoft and Microsoft is enabling players to access select Ubisoft Xbox titles on PC without an extra purchase. This initiative allows users who own digital versions of specified games on Xbox to play them on PC via the Ubisoft Connect platform.

The list of games included in this cross-platform promotion comprises titles such as Assassin's Creed Mirage, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Far Cry 6, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Riders Republic, Skull and Bones, The Crew 2, The Crew Motorfest, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, and Watch Dogs Legion.

Ubisoft Connect, which serves as the company's PC client and a cross-platform social hub, will now feature these games for eligible Xbox owners. Microsoft has indicated that new purchases should appear immediately, while previously acquired titles may take until August 4 to become available.

This program operates with certain limitations. It is a one-way benefit, meaning PC game ownership does not translate to Xbox copies. While owned downloadable content (DLC) is expected to transfer to PC, consumable items and in-game currency might not. Players can verify which content has been carried over by checking a game's Properties page within Ubisoft Connect on PC.

In a related development, several premium editions of Ubisoft games are now accessible through the Xbox app on PC. This includes titles like Assassin's Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Skull and Bones, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Additionally, add-ons for various Ubisoft franchises will be available for purchase within the Xbox app on PC.
