Developer Panic Stations has announced Very Safe Dino Park, a chaotic one-to-four player simulation game where players are tasked with managing a dinosaur theme park. The game, described as "friendslop"—a term for multiplayer games that are somewhat unpolished but highly enjoyable with friends—aims for a comedic take on the dinosaur park management genre, drawing comparisons to Jurassic World Evolution.
In Very Safe Dino Park, players will need to maintain the illusion of a competent operation for park guests. However, behind the scenes, the simulation presents a cascade of issues. Dinosaurs will become hungry, guests may prove to be a nuisance, and park systems are expected to fail. The core gameplay loop involves feeding the dinosaurs, cleaning up their messes, and occasionally tranquilizing unruly creatures.
Adding to the chaotic nature, the game includes mature content where deceased guests can be harvested for parts. These dismembered bodies can be fed into a biofuel generator to produce electricity for the park, complete with cartoonish red blood effects. The developers have stated that guests' demise is intended to be a source of dark humor.
Very Safe Dino Park is slated for release at an unconfirmed date. Further updates can be found by following the developer's X page.
