Wardogs has launched into its early access period, and to commemorate the occasion, a Twitch Drops campaign is now underway, offering players a variety of rewards. These in-game items and profile badges can be obtained by watching participating Twitch streams for specified durations and linking the correct accounts.
The campaign is divided into two parts: Beta and Launch rewards, and Early Access 1.0 Twitch Drops.
The Beta and Launch rewards campaign extends until September 30 at 10:59 AM PT / 1:59 PM ET / 6:59 PM GMT. During this period, players can acquire the Wardog and Warlord badges. To earn the Wardog badge, viewers must watch any Twitch stream featuring Wardogs with drops enabled for 30 minutes. The Warlord badge requires purchasing one new or recurring gift subscription on Twitch, though Prime subscriptions do not count towards this reward. It is important to note that these badges are cosmetic and will only appear on a user's Twitch profile, not within the Wardogs game itself.
Subsequently, the Early Access 1.0 Twitch Drops campaign commenced with the game's early access launch on September 10 and will conclude on September 13 at 7:59 PM PT / 10:59 PM ET (September 14 at 3:59 AM GMT). This promotion offers several in-game items. Viewers can earn rewards by watching streams, with incremental goals: 15 minutes of watch time yields the Bronze Drop 1, 1 hour grants Bronze Drop 2, 2 hours provide Silver Drop 1, 5 hours award Gold Drop 1, 7 hours offer Gold Drop 2, 9 hours deliver Gold Drop 3, 11 hours result in Silver Drop 2, 13 hours grant Gold Drop 4, and 15 hours unlock Gold Drop 5. Given the short duration of this specific campaign, continuous viewing of a Wardogs stream is recommended to maximize reward acquisition.
To ensure that any earned in-game rewards are received, players must connect their Wardogs account to their Twitch account. The process begins by visiting the Wardogs account linking page after launching the game at least once. As the console version is slated for a 2028 release, current account linking is exclusively available via Steam sign-in for PC players. New users will have the option to create an account. Once logged in, navigate to the "Linked Accounts" section and select "Link" next to the Twitch account option. Players should be aware that an account can only be linked to a single Twitch account for its lifetime, necessitating careful selection of the correct Twitch login. After authorizing the connection on Twitch, the accounts will be linked, and in-game rewards should appear shortly thereafter, though a slight delay in delivery is possible.
