The beta for World of Warcraft: Forever, a new iteration of the long-running MMO, has officially launched on PC. This limited-time beta offers players a chance to experience new quests, dungeons, and class abilities within a version of the game that is designed to remain static.
The beta began on Thursday, September 17. While exact times were not provided by Blizzard, previous beta launches for World of Warcraft typically occur between 11 am and 3 pm PT. The beta is scheduled to conclude on October 21, giving players approximately one month to test the content.
Accessing the Beta
There are two primary methods for gaining access to the World of Warcraft: Forever beta. Players who have preordered either the Skyborne Epic Pack for $59.99 or the Warcraft Forever Collection for $79.99 from Blizzard's official store will automatically receive beta access. Alternatively, players can sign up for a chance to be selected by visiting the WoW: Forever website and clicking the "Beta Opt-in" button. Confirmation of beta access can be found in the Battle.net launcher by checking the dropdown menu under World of Warcraft and selecting "World of Warcraft: Forever."

The beta client will be divided into two distinct phases. Initially, players will be restricted to a level cap of 20. After two weeks, this cap will be raised to level 30, where it will remain until the beta period ends.
