Xbox is once again offering players the chance to try out a selection of games for free through its Free Play Days campaign. This event, running from Thursday, September 10, through Sunday, September 13, allows players to experience six different titles without any cost.
All Xbox Game Pass subscribers, regardless of their subscription tier, will have full access to Borderlands 4, CarX Drift Racing Online, F1 25 2026 Edition, and Surviving Mars: Relaunched during the event. Additionally, all Xbox players can jump into EA Sports Madden NFL 27 until the campaign concludes on September 13. Players who are not Game Pass subscribers can still participate by trying out a two-hour trial of Dustborn.
This recurring initiative aims to give players the opportunity to explore new games. In some cases, shorter titles may even be completable within the free play window. The selection spans multiple genres, aiming to appeal to a diverse player base.
For those who find a new favorite during Free Play Days, several of the featured titles will also be available at a discounted price. Borderlands 4 is available for $34.99, down from $69.99, and F1 25 2026 Edition is marked down to $34.99 from $49.99. CarX Drift Racing Online is priced at $23.99, and Dustborn is available for $4.49, reduced from $29.99. EA Sports Madden NFL 27 remains at its standard price of $69.99, and Surviving Mars: Relaunched is offered at $39.99.
