Xbox Game Pass is bolstering its library with a significant influx of new games throughout July 2026, featuring a mix of genres and a highly anticipated day-one launch. The additions come at a time when Xbox Game Pass's long-term financial success has been a topic of discussion.

The month begins today with the immediate availability of Winds of Arcana: Ruination. This 2.5D action Metroidvania challenges players to explore a fractured world as protagonist Aryn and his companions, utilizing magic and power-ups to uncover ancient mysteries.

July 9 will introduce two more titles: Gears of War: Reloaded and Tamashika. The remake of the original Gears of War will be accessible via Game Pass Premium, in addition to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Tamashika offers a fast-paced arcade experience where quick reactions are essential as the environment dynamically shifts.

Starting July 13, a daily rotation of new games will be available on Game Pass for nearly a week. This lineup includes the day-one release of Ascend to Zero, a game described as a time-bending Hades-like. Following this are PBA Pro Bowling 2026, the survival-focused action of Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, the multiplayer sports title Mavrix, and the co-op extraction platformer FixForce.

Additionally, Fogpiercer, a sci-fi roguelike deckbuilder where players must make strategic decisions under fire from train bandits, will launch for PC. The open-world base-building game The Planet Crafter and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 are also set to join the service on July 21.

July will also mark the 1.0 release of Palworld, the popular survival and crafting game. This update is expected to bring new areas to explore and characters to encounter. Conversely, eleven games are scheduled to leave the Game Pass service this month. Notable departures include Golf With Your Friends, Stellaris, EA Sports FC 24, PowerWash Simulator, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
