James Bond's training is complete, and "All The Time In The World," the first field mission in 007: First Light, sends the newly-minted agent to Slovakia to pursue a suspicious lead during what begins as a routine watch duty. This walkthrough details the opportunities and paths available to uncover the clandestine plot.

A Matter Of Considerable Delicacy

Following debriefing at HQ, Bond is directed to Q's Lab. After speaking with Q in the Wearables area, examine the Dagger Shoes collectible on the table to the right. Q then escorts Bond to the Gadget Testing range to introduce the Shockwave Camera and Smoke Pod. Bond must then select his loadout, with the Dart Phone recommended for its utility in uncovering opportunities. Afterwards, proceed to Operations to meet Moneypenny. Behind the elevator in Operations, an Intel log titled "Arrowhead report" can be found on a desk beneath a screen displaying a yellow MI6 logo. Within Moneypenny's pod, a folder on her desk provides the "009 Intel" log. Selecting "Exit to mission" from Moneypenny initiates the next phase.

En Route

Bond, disguised as a chauffeur, drives Monroe and Cressida to a chess tournament. Upon arrival at the hotel, Bond observes a suspicious bellhop leaving his post and decides to investigate.

In Position

Leaving the car park, Bond follows the bellhop towards the hotel. Ascending the first set of stairs, a second set to the left leads to a railing where the "Ace Of Acorns Card" collectible can be found, at the location where the bellhop was seen discarding luggage. Reaching the hotel's rear entrance presents a checkpoint. Bond can gain entry through several methods:

  • Hidden Press Badge: Eavesdrop on a woman at a bench near the checkpoint to learn she stashed a Press Badge in a nearby flower pot. This is located on the lower terrace, to the left of a well.
  • Wheelbarrow fire distraction: On the lower terrace, distract a guard sitting by a bench by turning on a nearby tap. With the guard distracted, retrieve a lighter and return to the upper terrace. Igniting a wheelbarrow of dry leaves near the checkpoint will distract the guard, allowing Bond to vault a wall and proceed via a pipe into the event.
  • The Staff Only Section: A more direct route involves heading right from the checkpoint, vaulting a wall into tall flowers, crossing to the other side, vaulting another wall, and using ledges below the terrace to reach a pipe that leads through an open window.

The Game Is On

Upon entering the main hall, Bond witnesses a cutscene. To avoid detection by agents marked with a yellow indicator above their heads, Bond can acquire the "Pillow Mint Memento" collectible by using the Phone Dart on a staff member with a keycard and then pickpocketing it to access a staff-only door to the left. Following the corridor, Bond spots Agent Kingsley and must proceed cautiously. At the bar, questioning the bartender about the bellhop reveals he went backstage. After Agent Nash moves, Bond can proceed through an archway with drapes. A security guard at the backstage checkpoint can be bypassed with the Press Badge or by using the Phone Dart. Backstage, Bond can examine a book on a display case and eavesdrop on two men discussing the bellhop. Speaking to one of them provides a tip-off that the bellhop went to Reception. The "Championship Badge Memento" collectible is found on equipment cases in a corner before leaving the backstage area. Squeezing through a gap leads back to the main hall and a corridor towards the second-floor Reception landing. The "Chess Biography" collectible is located on a table in a room past double doors at the back of this landing.

Reception

On the lower floor of Reception, eavesdropping on the receptionist and a disgruntled man reveals the bellhop entered the Laundry Room. The Laundry Room entrance is locked with a keypad. The code can be found in the Manager's Office. Accessing the corridor behind the reception desk leads to a security checkpoint. Beyond this is a guard; slipping past him reveals the Manager's Office. The note on the desk provides the Laundry Room code: 1805. Inside the Manager's Office, a safe beneath the desk requires a four-digit code. By examining wine bottles in the room, the code 1952 can be deciphered to unlock the safe and obtain the "6 Of Roses Card" collectible. Returning to the Laundry Room, the code 1805 opens the door.

The Laundry

At the bottom of the stairs, the bellhop bribes security, trapping Bond in the Laundry Room. A stealthy approach involves hopping the counter, activating a vacuum cleaner to lure a Watcher away, then kicking a shelf to crush a guard behind it. Proceeding through the wreckage and towards the washing machines, take a left. Using bluff to make guards ignore Bond allows escape through the exit door. Beyond this room, Bond learns the bellhop has changed disguises. Exiting through a window and climbing a pipe leads into a study.

The Study

Inside the study, Bond must evade patrolling guards. Waiting for two guards ahead to move towards a display case allows Bond to slip left and cross towards the exit, using a distraction for a final guard. The "6 Of Acorns Card" collectible is located at the end of the corridor past the study, in a terrace garden on a green patio table.

Accessing Room 206

Upon exiting the study, Bond encounters Monroe, who reveals the former bellhop is now known as "Locke" and is staying in Room 206. At the reception desk, asking about Locke confirms his room number. To enter Room 206, Bond can target a maid outside Room 205 with the Q Lens, acquiring her keycard via the Phone Dart. The "Slovakia Postcard" collectible is in Room 205. Entering Room 205's bathroom and hopping out the window onto a ledge leads to an open window into Room 206.

Delivery Area

Inside Room 206, clues can be found in the fireplace, drawers, and bathroom. After a cutscene, Bond exits via the window, scales down to the backstage area, crosses a security checkpoint, and enters a corridor. Following the corridor to its end leads to a loading bay where the blond man is spotted again. He is then followed into the kitchen.

The Kitchen

In the kitchen, Bond vaults the counter and heads for the exit doors. Following the man out leads to a cutscene and a chase sequence. Bond takes an alternate route around metal bars to reach an elevator, then proceeds up fire escape stairs, re-entering the bar area. The bellhop is seen entering the dining room.

The Vanishing

In the dining room, a torn page is found on a dining cart. This page refers to a hidden mechanism, appearing to be a fireplace. A blue dial beneath an open latch on the mantle has animal symbols. The clue for the sequence, "lion, goat, snake," is found on banners depicting a chimera. Inputting this sequence opens a passage through the fireplace into the cellar. In the cellar, the "7 Of Bells Card" collectible is located in a cell across some bars. Pulling a lever near a stone wall opens the secret passage.

Double Trouble

Emerging from the passage, Bond engages in a boss fight against the assassin. "Specialists" are characterized by dodging and sequential attacks that require parrying. After multiple parries, Bond can stun the assassin and damage him, then ram his head into wine racks. Interacting with a bomb on a pillar triggers the second round, where a second identical assassin joins the fight. Similar tactics apply, with the addition of using throwables to stun one twin while using environmental hazards against the other. The encounter concludes with a cutscene where Bond disarms the bomb by removing the battery, motherboard, and wires, with a prompt to pull the blue wire.

The Aftermath

Regaining control in the fiery hotel remains, Bond follows a path, climbs a wall, and chases 009 out of the hotel. A cutscene shows Bond hotwiring a car for a pursuit on the road. After navigating barricades and shortcuts through docks, fields, and lumber yards, 009 abandons his car at an abandoned airfield.

The Abandoned Airfield

On foot, Bond enters a sewer pipe and eliminates a soldier. Emerging, Bond faces a militia shootout. Key combat tips include constant movement for ammo and cover, using explosives, saving the Focus meter for flanking enemies, and utilizing sturdy cover. Aiming for the head and using explosive barrels are also advised. Enemies approach in cars, which must be dealt with before reaching a plane that begins to take off. Bond chases the plane, eventually entering it via a loading vehicle. On the plane's wing, Bond fights two soldiers before confronting a gunman. The mission then transitions to Bond infiltrating the plane.

Flying Dark

Inside the plane, Bond sneaks past a guard tampering with a panel, acquiring a remote that can tilt the aircraft. This ability is used to crush soldiers lined up near a truck by tilting the plane right. In the next chamber, tilting the plane left detaches doors and throws soldiers out. Bond then enters the chamber, using melee grapples to throw more soldiers. A QTE sequence leads to Bond being ejected from the plane. This on-rails section culminates with Bond diving to catch two soldiers parachuting after him, initiating a final QTE sequence to end the mission. Bond and Greenway then decide to work together for the next mission, "The Past Never Dies."
