Unlocking 'A Pilgrimage for Power'
The "A Pilgrimage for Power" quest can be initiated either by finishing "A Mother's Plea" or by discovering a sacred stone at random. A common entry point is approaching the quest marker south of Laslea Glen shortly after completing the prologue. If the player uses focus mode, wind chimes will appear, leading them up a mountain path. Successfully finding the first stone does not automatically reveal the locations of the others, necessitating either extensive map exploration, following a specific quest line, or using a guide.
To have the sacred stone locations revealed on the map, players can undertake a series of related quests. This involves investigating an alley in northeast Svartrau to begin "A Friend Like This," completing it, and then proceeding to "Song of the Mountain." Following this, accepting "A Mother's Plea" by assisting the Elder in Uriash Village and completing its sub-quest, "The Heart Wants What it Wants," will ultimately lead to the Elder revealing the sacred stone locations. Maintaining a helpful and respectful demeanor towards the Elder is advised during this process.
Using Sacred Stones and Rewards

Sacred Stone Location #1: 'Bear Trouble'
The first sacred stone quest, "A Pilgrimage for Power: Bear Trouble," is located in Briar Sloughs, southwest of Laslea Glen and north of Mert's Mill. Players will need to follow a path uphill and investigate a small camp. Further along, a Ravenous Bear will appear. After defeating the bear, players can inspect the Uriashi corpse, the knife near the sacred stone, and the stone itself to obtain a Ravenous Flock Manual.
Sacred Stone Location #2: 'Dark-Thing'
To find the sacred stone for "A Pilgrimage for Power: Dark-Thing," players should head to the map's border, west of Svartrau City. The most direct route involves taking the path west of Boar's Back Tower, proceeding along the Rocky Glade and Steep Steps Way shrines, and passing through Westridge Outpost before heading north. A group of Uriashi will attack upon sight. After dealing with them, players will encounter an Essence of Grief wraith along the wind chime path. Defeating this wraith and reaching the sacred stone will lead to an encounter with two Uriashi. Players can either fight them or inform them that the Essence of Grief has been defeated to gain access to the stone and the Ravenous Flock Manual.
Sacred Stone Location #3: 'Fanatics'
The quest "A Pilgrimage for Power: Fanatics" begins in St. Tyna's Grove, east of Svartrau City. Players should follow the wind chimes northeast, ascending the mountain and confronting three wolves. At a wooden cross surrounded by bodies, players will find remnants of the sacred stone, destroyed by fanatics. Investigating the cross will provide details about the Uriashi glyph. An Uriashi will then approach; whether players choose to attack or agree with the killing of the fanatics, they will receive the Ravenous Flock Manual.
Sacred Stone Location #4: 'The Ritual'
The final sacred stone is located in the Tantari Woods, on the southern side of the map. Players should follow the river south, passing Tantari Tower, until they reach the Vedera Spring shrine, then proceed east. At the end of the wind chime path, within a camp featuring a burning tree, the Witch of Barren Peaks will initiate an attack. This boss is the most challenging of the quest, known for a special attack where she summons four lightning bolts. Players must dodge these attacks precisely. The Voracious Bite ability is effective against her, and attacking during the night is also recommended. After defeating the Witch, players can examine the camp before interacting with the sacred stone to obtain the final Ravenous Flock Manual and complete "A Pilgrimage for Power."
Once all four sacred stones are found and their trials completed, the "A Pilgrimage for Power" quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker will be finished, granting players the fully upgraded Ravenous Flock ability if they have collected all the associated manuals.
