Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced features 11 hidden Character Portraits, each depicting a notable pirate who crossed paths with Captain Edward Kenway. Collecting all of these unique artworks allows Edward to decorate his manor in Great Inagua, with the completion of this collection yielding a powerful cutlass and a distinctive outfit.
Character Portrait Locations
The following table details the location and associated quest for each of the 11 Character Portraits:
- Julien Du Casse: Coordinates 827, 443. Found near the entrance of Great Inagua manor. Accessible during the quest 'A Single Madman' or anytime after 'This Old Cove'.
- Laurens Prins: Coordinates 594, 174. Located in Prins' Kingston manor, accessible via an open window on the right side of the house after the mission 'Unmanned'.
- Commodore Chamberlaine: Coordinates 589, 757. Found below the western Viewpoint in Nassau. Access the second floor of the house via a ground ladder or by dropping from the Viewpoint; the portrait is above the front door. Accessible after 'Commodore Eighty-Sixed'.
- Blackbeard: Coordinates within Anotto Bay. Obtained by completing the side quest 'Blackbeard's Treasure', which becomes available during the 'Do Not Go Gentle' quest.
- Stede Bonnet: Coordinates 910, 123. Acquired by completing the side quest 'Captain Stede Bonnet', which becomes available after returning to Great Inagua manor and grabbing a letter in the Trophy Room.

Portrait Rewards
Upon hanging all 11 Character Portraits in Edward Kenway's manor in Great Inagua, players will receive two significant rewards:
- The Fortune: A legendary cutlass with 20 base damage. It allows for up to three maximum takedowns and features a Heavy Strike that can hit multiple enemies in an arc. Each kill landed with a Heavy Strike grants the player additional Reales.
- Haytham Kenway's Overcoat: A legendary outfit that mirrors the attire later worn by Edward's son, Haytham Kenway.
