While Ubisoft initially tied these chests to weekly clues, the game's community quickly deciphered their locations. These troves contain valuable Reales, legendary ship figureheads, unique outfits, and powerful weapons.

Community Chest Locations and Rewards

There are three Community Chests scattered across the game world, each containing distinct items. Players can collect 4,000 Reales from the first chest. The second chest yields the Uncrowned Prince Rapier and the Guardian Beast Figurehead for the Jackdaw. The third chest provides the Explorer Outfit and the Aveline Figurehead.

Community Chest #1

This chest is found in the Dry Tortuga region, located at coordinates 421, 939. Sail to the northwest side of a large rocky boulder formation where it meets the nearby landmass. The chest can be found by diving at this spot. It contains 4,000 Reales.

Community Chest #2

Located at coordinates 500, 168, this chest contains the Uncrowned Prince Rapier and the Guardian Beast Figurehead. This area is known to be guarded by forts and enemy ships, so players may need to upgrade the Jackdaw and progress further into the main story for safer access.

Community Chest #3

The third Community Chest can be found at coordinates 28, 292. This location grants the Explorer Outfit and the Aveline Figurehead. Similar to the second chest, this area may also be defended, requiring player progression and ship upgrades for easier retrieval.

Diving for Chests

Players do not require the Diving Bell to access these Community Chests; free-diving is sufficient as long as the area can be reached. However, it is advisable to dive during daylight hours, as underwater visibility is significantly reduced at night. Players should also be aware that Chests #2 and #3 are located in areas that may be patrolled by enemy ships and protected by forts, potentially posing a challenge until the Jackdaw is sufficiently upgraded and the player has progressed through the main story.
