Chapter 6 of Beast of Reincarnation, titled 'Necrosis,' transports players to the Fuji Frontier Zone, a sprawling, ruined cavernous environment. This section of the game requires careful navigation, utilizing Emma's hair for traversal, while avoiding fatal drops.
The objective in this chapter is to locate the next Nushi. Upon exiting the Cleanse Walker, players will encounter Golems which must be cleared before proceeding. A short distance past these enemies, the first Dragon Vein Shrine for Chapter 6 can be found near a staircase guarded by archer Golems.
Ascending the stairs leads players to an area with a large copper pipe, dilapidated buildings, and flying enemies. After clearing these foes and gathering any loot, further stairs must be climbed. Atop these, Emma's hair can be used to jump onto a wooden shack and then onto the copper pipe. Following the pipe, indicated by glowing orange butterflies, will lead to a dead end where Emma's hair must again be employed to create branches between steel platforms, navigating carefully to avoid falling. Grapple points are available to assist with this segment, though players must contend with projectile-wielding enemies.
Players will eventually reach the enemies that were attacking them, followed by a small village populated with more foes and another Dragon Vein Shrine. After clearing the village, a friendly Golem can be spoken to, near whom players can find the Spirit Stone: Infernal End and Manual: Explosive Arrows. The journey continues by grappling to higher steel platforms on the opposite side of a canyon, with a Fertilised Egg available as a collectible along the way. This leads to the Collapsed Pipes: Approach Campsite.
Across from the campsite, the Spirit Stone: Final Infusion 2 can be collected. Ahead, a blockade can be bypassed by shooting a small fiery vase beneath it. A second blockade with a similar vase can be destroyed, but the third blockade requires a different approach. Players must follow a copper pipe to a small shack. Peeking through vines to the right of the shack reveals a third vase that can be shot to clear the path.
Beyond the cleared blockade, a Merchant Golem stands beside a strongbox containing the Dance Attire armor. Players can also purchase necessary items from this merchant. Continuing forward involves destroying Amber deposits, leading to the objective: a large Nushi. After a brief interaction with Brad, the hunt for Shidou's malefact begins.
Chasing Shidou's Malefact
The pursuit leads into a cave, where players must cautiously advance past explosive Headless Golems. An archer Golem positioned on elevated foundations can be eliminated with ranged attacks. Hopping onto the platform the archer occupied allows access to another Dragon Vein Shrine via Emma's hair, using the rocks to climb to the right.
Returning to the main path, Emma's hair will be necessary to bridge a gap between two platforms. Following this, players will face two deer malefacts before reaching the Defense Outpost: Outskirts Campsite. Inside a nearby hut, players can find a Bull Censer, the Manual: Bull Censer, and Normal Recipe: Meat Sandwich. Entering the stone tunnel adjacent to the campsite initiates a gauntlet against multiple enemies.
Upon defeating all six enemies, the gates unlock, revealing items for Koo on the right and food supplies on the left. Proceeding ahead and upwards along a spiraling path, players will encounter more Golems. Crossing a bridge at the top leads to the Defense Outpost: Interior Campsite. A grapple point to the right of this campsite leads to an area with a Keeper Golem and a Strongbox. For additional loot, players can fast travel back to the Defense Outpost: Interior Campsite, then go left to find a Dragon Vein Shrine guarded by an Elite Enemy.
To continue, players return to the campsite and proceed straight ahead towards the objective. A Golem guards a dead-end, requiring players to jump onto a platform to their left. From there, more Golems appear. Emma's hair is used to reach the next platform, defeat the Golem, and destroy a red vase to reveal a new path.
At the end of this path, players face multiple malefacts. After their defeat, a strongbox can be unlocked by completing a directional input minigame (Left, Down, Up, Down, Right), yielding 1618 Amber, a Generator Device, an Electronic Brain, and a Facility Module.
Exiting the cave and proceeding right encounters another Golem. Before moving ahead and upwards, players should look down to find a cave behind the final Dragon Vein Shrine of the chapter, which also contains a Skill Amber for Koo. Players then return to the Defense Outpost: Interior Campsite and use Emma's hair to traverse gaps leading to the Defense Outpost: Wall Campsite. A non-optional Golem mini-boss blocks the exit here.
Bridge Control and Nue Malefact
After defeating the Golem mini-boss, the path to the Bridge Control Room: Approach Campsite opens. The Shark Cutter sword can be looted directly beside it. Interacting with the bridge Control Panel creates a shortcut back to the area's beginning.
Continuing right from the campsite leads to a confrontation with the Nue Malefact. This enemy's moveset is unchanged from previous encounters, with the addition of a brief barrage of projectile seeds from its tail. Players are advised to stay near the center of the arena to prevent the boss's health from resetting if it moves too far. Upon defeating the Nue Malefact, players are rewarded with the Dokuzeri: Fang 2 Bloom Art and the Finisher: Dokuzeri Blade Art.
Final Pursuit and Chapter Conclusion
The chase for Shidou's malefact resumes. Players will fight Golems and a large mech before reaching the Fallen Cliffs: Surroundings Campsite.
Players may return to the Cleanse Walker to complete companion episodes or have a meal before continuing. The path forward involves grappling and climbing across rusty pipes, with caution advised for flying enemies. Upon crossing the canyon, the Fallen Cliffs: Central Area Campsite is reached. Interacting with the Control Panel beside the bulkhead door progresses the game.
The next area is a ruined factory filled with flying enemies. Emma's hair is used again to cross to the opposite side, where another Campsite and a bulkhead door with a Control Panel are located, alongside a Merchant Golem. Resting at the Nushi's Lair Entrance Campsite and using the Control Panel opens the adjacent bulkhead door.
Ahead lies a final confrontation with the Nue Malefact and its handler, Male Purifier Shidou, both at Level 35. This fight is similar to the Chapter 3 encounter, with the pair having gained a few levels. Completing this encounter marks the end of Chapter 6, leading into Chapter 7.
