Once you enter the first wheat field, push forward until you encounter a torii gate. Interacting with this gate causes the Fun Gang to move at an accelerated pace, and in this particular instance, Kris will cut through the wheat as they run.
Harvesting the Wheat
Upon the initial passage through the torii gate, players may need to evade attacks from a Starwalker. This adversary will not reappear in subsequent attempts to find the egg. The core mechanic involves repeatedly running back and forth between the torii gates, effectively 'harvesting' the wheat with each pass. The goal is to persist until a single, recurring stalk of wheat remains. Cutting this specific stalk should eventually cause a blue balloon to emerge, a process that may take around five attempts. It is still possible to acquire the egg even if this specific stalk is missed during a run, so continue cutting it.
Following the Balloon
Once the blue balloon appears, players must wait for it to begin moving towards the left. During this waiting period, it is advisable to run between the gates a few more times, ensuring you end up on the left side of the wheat field. When the balloon starts its movement, follow it through the left-hand exit, which will lead away from the direction of the shop.
The Annoying Dog's Puzzle
This path does not lead back to the shop but instead to an unusual area containing six flowers and the Annoying Dog, who is floating on a balloon. The objective here is to interact with each flower, turning them yellow, before the Annoying Dog waters them. Should a flower be missed, the Annoying Dog will reset its pattern, starting with the first flower again. The sequence in which the Annoying Dog interacts with the flowers is as follows: the bottom right flower, the top right flower directly above the first, the very bottom flower opposite the entry point, the very top flower, the bottom left flower, and finally, the top right flower directly above the fifth. Following this process ensures all flowers are watered.
The Watering Can and Final Steps
After all flowers have been watered, an Annoying Dog-themed watering can will drop from above. Players should retrieve this item and proceed to the left side of the area. Here, a pathway will materialize after Kris uses the watering can on the ground, similar to how paths are created in other parts of the game. The Annoying Dog may briefly intervene by taking the watering can back to the central plinth, but this should not prevent the path from forming.
