Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree expansion introduces a variety of new weapon types, including Hand-to-Hand Arts which allow for a martial approach to combat through punches and kicks. Players can acquire two distinct Hand-to-Hand Arts weapons: Dryleaf Arts and Dane's Footwork. This guide details the locations of both.
Dryleaf Arts Location
To obtain the Dryleaf Arts weapon, players must first unlock the 'May the Best Win' Gesture. This gesture can be found alongside the Monk's Missive note at the Highroad Cross Site of Grace, located behind Castle Ensis. Once the gesture is acquired, travel to the Moorth Ruins. Using the 'May the Best Win' Gesture in front of an NPC named Dryleaf Dane, who is present at the Moorth Ruins, will initiate a boss fight. Upon defeating Dryleaf Dane, the Dryleaf Arts weapon will become available for collection.
Dane's Footwork Location
The Dane's Footwork Hand-to-Hand Art is acquired later in the expansion, typically towards its conclusion. This weapon is obtained in the area known as Enir-Ilim. As players progress through the latter stages of Shadow of the Erdtree, they will encounter an invasion by Leda and her allies, which includes Dryleaf Dane. Successfully defeating these adversaries will allow players to loot their equipment, including Dryleaf Dane's armor and the Dane's Footwork weapon.
