Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 features a weekly quest that tasks players with using a lighthouse beam to reveal and then search a hidden rare chest. This quest can be found in the Calamari Canyon area.

Locating and Activating the Lighthouse

The lighthouse is situated west of the main buildings in Calamari Canyon. Players aiming to complete this quest efficiently should consider landing directly on top of the lighthouse. Once at the summit, interact with the light mechanism to ignite it and activate the beam.

Revealing and Searching for Chests

After activating the lighthouse, its beam will begin to sweep across the surrounding area. Players should exit the lighthouse and observe the ground. Following the path of the beam is key, as it will highlight hidden rare chests when illuminated. Revealed chests will be marked with a purple light above them and will remain visible for a limited time. If a chest disappears before it can be accessed, players will need to wait for the beam to sweep over the area again.
