Frostfairy Flowers, a new Snezhnayan local specialty, were introduced in Genshin Impact version 7.0 and are essential for the Ascension of Odette, a five-star Cryo character. While currently only Odette requires this material, it may be necessary for future character upgrades. These flowers respawn every two days, requiring strategic farming to accumulate the necessary amount.
Players can find Frostfairy Flowers in clusters, making it efficient to collect multiple blooms in one area. Utilizing characters like Alyosha, whose abilities highlight special materials on the mini-map, can further streamline the farming process.
Frostfairy Flower Locations
Snezhnograd
Snezhnograd hosts the most abundant collection of Frostfairy Flowers, with 37 available within the city, located north of Central Station. The flowers are typically found in large flowerbeds, though five are hidden on a rooftop near the Adventurers' Guild.
Sanctuary of Grief
Just north of Snezhnograd lies the Sanctuary of Grief, where players can find 14 Frostfairy Flowers.
Everfrozen Earth and Fellfrost Peak
A total of 11 Frostfairy Flowers are scattered across three distinct areas south of Snezhnograd. Three flowers are located near Fellfrost Peak, accessible underground via Tidesong Cavern. Another three can be found in a trench southeast of Central Station, and five are situated outside a shack southwest of Central Station. Teleport Waypoints are recommended for efficient travel between these locations.
Pilgrimage of the Sacred Gorge
Twelve Frostfairy Flowers are available in the Pilgrimage of the Sacred Gorge. However, access to the White Birch Snowgrave area, where the Gorge is located, requires the completion of three quest chains: 'Hesperides of Love and Hate,' 'In the Dwelling of Life,' and 'On One Side a Palace.' The Gorge becomes explorable during the 'On One Side a Palace' quest.
One-Time Chest Pickup
Nine Frostfairy Flowers can be obtained from a chest located between Jack Frost Village and Svetloledovka. This is a single-pickup item and cannot be farmed repeatedly. The chest is unlocked by defeating the enemies surrounding it.
Frostfairy Flower Usage
Frostfairy Flowers are a glowing material native to Snezhnaya, found both above and underground. Odette requires 168 Frostfairy Flowers for her full Ascension. Given the total of 74 available Frostfairy Flowers in Snezhnaya, it will take a minimum of three farming days to gather the required amount.
