Odette, a 5-star Cryo support character in Genshin Impact, excels at enhancing Stellar Glimmer reactions such as Stellar Conduct and Stellar Swirl. Her straightforward build process makes her a valuable asset for both casual players and seasoned Spiral Abyss veterans.

Optimal Team Compositions

Odette performs best in teams centered around Stellar Glimmer reactions. While she can facilitate both Stellar Conduct and Stellar Swirl, focusing on one reaction type per team is recommended for maximizing damage output.

For Stellar Conduct teams, Odette synergizes exceptionally well with Yae Miko and Sandrone. A flexible fourth slot can be filled by characters like Qiqi or Alyosha, though a C6 Alyosha provides a significant upgrade. While other Electro and Cryo supports can function, the aforementioned characters generally represent the strongest options currently available.

Stellar Swirl teams, while slightly less potent than Stellar Conduct options, offer a fantastic free-to-play entry point into Stellar Glimmer damage. The optimal Stellar Swirl setup often involves Yumemizuki Mizuki, ideally paired with Sucrose and Diona. Mizuki is a standard banner character, and many of her best team enablers are readily accessible.

Recommended Weapons

When equipping Odette, her signature 5-star weapon, Whitelake Frostfeather, is a strong choice, though not strictly essential due to excellent alternative options. Odette equipped with her signature weapon in Genshin Impact.

The 4-star weapon Finale of the Deep is often the best alternative, providing a valuable attack increase after Odette uses her Elemental Skill. Emberwell is a solid 4-star choice, particularly when Odette is paired with Cyno or in a double Electro composition, as it boosts attack and Stellar Glimmer damage upon triggering an elemental reaction. Other weapons that increase Odette's personal attack stat are generally beneficial.

Artifact Selection

Odette's best-in-slot Artifact set is typically the 4-piece Heart of the Furnace, unless another teammate is already utilizing it. This set enhances both Odette's attack and her teammates' Stellar Glimmer damage when she triggers a Stellar Glimmer reaction. Odette wearing the Heart of the Furnace artifact set.

The ideal main stats for Heart of the Furnace are Attack for the Sands and Goblet, and Crit Rate or Crit Damage for the Circlet. If the Heart of the Furnace set is unavailable, the 4-piece Disenchantment in Deep Shadow set can be used for Stellar Conduct teams, as it boosts attack, Stellar Conduct, Superconduct, and Crit Rate. In the absence of these sets, any Artifacts that increase Odette's attack are suitable, aiming to reach a cap of 3000 attack.

Substats to prioritize across all Artifact sets include Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and Attack.

Gameplay and Skill Usage

Odette functions as a support character focused on enabling and amplifying Stellar Conduct and Stellar Swirl reactions. The core of her gameplay involves using her Elemental Skill twice at the start of a rotation to maximize team buffs. Odette performing her Elemental Skill with her translucent double.

Activating the Skill button a second time within a short window triggers either Stellar Conduct or Stellar Swirl. This action also builds stacks of Marvelous Splendor, which increases her Stellar Glimmer damage. Upon switching off-field after building these stacks, the damage bonus is transferred to the team, providing a brief but significant damage boost. The summoned double automatically targets enemies, simplifying positioning.

While Odette's Elemental Burst enhances her own Cryo damage, it is not a priority for upgrades compared to her Skill. Her normal attacks do not require significant investment unless she is intended to be the on-field main damage dealer.
