The Roblox experience Home Alone tasks players with protecting their house from various Anomalies disguised as visitors. These imposters can lower your Sanity meter, leading to a game over if it reaches zero. Successfully identifying and repelling Anomalies is key to survival.

Core Mechanics

Players must earn $180 by completing jobs around the house to prepare for their mother's evening out. Visitors will arrive, and it's the player's responsibility to determine if they are genuine or an Anomaly. If a visitor is deemed an Anomaly, the porch light should be turned off using the switch to the right of the front door. If the visitor is authentic, the door should be opened for interaction. Verification methods include scrutinizing visitor stories, listening to their voices, and using security cameras, accessible via a laptop in the front room, to detect unusual details.

Identifying Anomalies

Police Man

A tall man in a police uniform may request to enter to search for a criminal. If a police car is parked outside, he is authentic. However, if a beat-up van is present, he is an Anomaly.

Cat Lady

This visitor, described as a girl with black hair and a cropped tee, asks to retrieve her black cat from the parent's bedroom. Before opening the door, check the bedroom for the cat. If the cat is white, she is an Anomaly. A black cat indicates she is safe.

New Neighbour

A very tall man in a shirt and tie may introduce himself as the new neighbour. Using the cameras, if he presses his face against the screen when night vision is activated, he is an Anomaly. Otherwise, he is safe.

Classmate

A child with red hair, glasses, and a checkered shirt might ask to work on homework. Listen for changes in voice; a shift to a gravelly, demonic tone signifies an Anomaly. A consistent voice means the visitor is safe.

Guy Who Needs To Pee

This individual, wearing a hoodie and clutching his stomach, requests to use the bathroom. Checking via camera with night vision activated, if the visitor appears taller than normal, he is an Anomaly. Otherwise, he is safe.

Dumped Girl

A crying woman in a black jacket and camo pants seeks tissues. Through the cameras, if she is smiling and staring directly at the player, she is an Anomaly. If her demeanor is normal, she is safe.

Streamer

A child in a video game shirt, Adidas trackies, and white Crocs may ask to feature the player in a livestream. Examine the item in the streamer's hand; an unusually large iPhone indicates authenticity. If no phone is present, he is an Anomaly.

Vampire

This tall, pale-skinned man with a flared collar requests entry. Based on current information, it is advised not to let the Vampire in, as no non-Anomalous version has been documented.

Firefighter

A firefighter will claim smoke is coming from the oven. Check the oven; if smoke is present, he is authentic. No smoke indicates he is an Anomaly.

Plumber

This mustachioed man in a black shirt with a red toolbox states a request to fix a leaky bath faucet. Inspect the bath faucet; if it is leaking, he is legitimate. No leak means he is an Anomaly.

City Maintenance

A worker in overalls and a hard hat will report that the water has turned brown and needs fixing. Check the sink; if the running water is brown, he is authentic. If no water runs at all, he is an Anomaly.

Homeless Man

Appearing with scraggly hair and a long coat, he asks for food. Using the cameras, if the man does not appear at all, he is an Anomaly. His presence on the cameras means he is safe.

Secret Agent

This man in a full suit and sunglasses will speak of an alien threat. On camera with night vision, if he transforms into a seven-foot alien, he is an Anomaly. If he remains human-like, he is safe.

Party Girl

A dancing girl in a tank top and baggy jeans might invite the player to a party. If her voice has a melodic echo, she is an Anomaly. A normal speaking voice means she is safe.

Ballerina

A blonde girl in a ballerina outfit may offer to dance. If seen dancing on the doorstep via the camera, she is an Anomaly. If she stands normally, she is safe.

Next Door Neighbour

An older woman in a pink shirt, shorts, and no shoes may complain about the CCTV camera's position. Details on identifying this Anomaly are forthcoming.

Dog Owner

A man in a black polo shirt will request to retrieve his dog from the backyard. Check the backyard camera. If a dog is present, he is safe. If the Dog Owner is hunched on all fours and barking, he is an Anomaly.

Wifi Kid

This kid in a red hoodie holding a tablet seeks the Wi-Fi password. When checking cameras, if the camera sound begins to glitch, resembling repeated camera shutter clicks, he is an Anomaly. No such glitch indicates he is safe.

Lost Girl

A young girl with long hair and a grey jacket asks to use the phone. Through the cameras with night vision, if she appears significantly larger than normal, she is an Anomaly. If her appearance is consistent across camera views, she is clear.

Old Man

An old man with grey hair and a suit seeks directions to his daughter's house. Details on identifying this Anomaly are forthcoming.

Sleepy Woman

A girl in a pink jumper and grey sweats asks to rest in the player's bed. When viewed through the cameras, if her head snaps forward upon activating night vision, she is an Anomaly. If her head position remains unchanged, she is safe.

Drunk Girl

This stumbling girl with frizzy hair and a black dress requests to use the phone. Details on identifying this Anomaly are forthcoming.

Obby Player

A bald, middle-aged man in a black shirt may ask to play Roblox. Switch to the camera overlooking the player's mum's car; if the Obby Player is seen smashing the car with his fist, he is an Anomaly. A normal view of the car indicates he is safe.

Gym Bro

A large, muscular man in a white shirt requests water for a protein shake. If his voice sounds unusually high-pitched, he is an Anomaly. A normal voice signifies he is safe.

Goblin Stalker

This small, pale-skinned demon goblin may appear around the house to jumpscare the player. It is noted that this specific Anomaly cannot inflict harm and can generally be ignored.
