Smoothies, a new consumable item in Pokémon Pokopia, were introduced with the Bubbly Basin DLC. These crafted beverages serve to power up one of Ditto's moves, specifically Surf, enabling faster underwater traversal when Ditto is transformed into Lapras. To create any Smoothie, players must first acquire a Blender.

Unlocking the Blender

The recipe for the Blender is obtained by completing the 'Build the beautiful building' Important Request in Bubbly Basin. Following the completion of this request, a Mudkip will appear with a speech bubble above its head. Interacting with this Mudkip will initiate a conversation where it expresses a desire to try new foods. This dialogue automatically grants the player the Blender recipe.

To craft a Blender, players will need the following components: 1 x Iron, 1 x Wood, and 1 x Ceramic. These materials are likely gathered through exploration and resource collection within the game world.

Smoothie Recipes and Ingredients

To prepare any of the available Smoothies, players first need Watermelon Slices, which can be obtained by having a Pokémon with the Chop Speciality slice up Watermelons. One Watermelon yields three Watermelon Slices. The quantity of slices required varies per recipe, with some recipes benefiting from maximizing slices per Watermelon.

Below are the listed Smoothie recipes:

  • Coffee Parfait Smoothie: 1 or 2 Watermelon Slices, 1 or 2 Leppa Berries
  • Red-hot Smoothie: 1 or 2 Watermelon Slices, 1 or 2 Carrots. To successfully make this smoothie, a Pokémon with the Burn Speciality must be present during cooking. Both Frillish and Jellicent, found in Bubbly Basin, possess this speciality.
  • Refreshing Soda Smoothie: 1 Watermelon Slice, 1 Aspear Berry, 1 Soda Pop
  • Sea Grape Smoothie: 1 or 2 Watermelon Slices, 1 or 2 Sea Grapes

Any other combination of ingredients not listed above will result in a standard Smoothie.

Upon crafting a Blender, players can then proceed to make any of the Smoothie recipes. Completing Mudkip's request by giving it a Smoothie is also a possibility. Additionally, a Blender is a requirement for one of Bubbly Basin's habitats and aids in discovering new Pokémon introduced in the DLC.
