Locating the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary
The sanctuary is situated north of Mount Obsidian and southwest of Forgotten Island. To reach it, players will need a water or flying mount, as there are no fast travel points directly within the sanctuary itself, though they are available on surrounding islands. A map of the sanctuary's location can be found to aid navigation.
Mining Ancient Lava Ores
Upon entering the sanctuary, players should be aware of patrolling Drones that will attack if detected. It is also strongly advised to equip gear that protects against heat. Ancient Lava Ores are visually distinctive, appearing as large stones with glowing blue veins. Once an ore is located, it can be mined using a Pickaxe or a Plasma Laser Cutter to yield Ancient Lava.
