Megaphones are a valuable asset in Big Walk, enabling players to communicate with allies over greater distances, which is particularly useful given the game's proximity-based chat system. Finding a megaphone is not guaranteed on any given playthrough, as they do not always spawn. However, when they do appear, they are consistently located on specific structures.

These megaphones can be found atop yellow structures composed of cubes. On the game's 2D map, these structures appear as small yellow squares, while on the 3D map, they are depicted as two stacked yellow cubes. The in-game structures themselves are always yellow and cuboid, though their exact appearance can vary slightly.

Scaling these structures requires cooperation. Players will need a friend to help them reach the top, as the blocks are too large to climb alone. Taking turns boosting each other is the intended method, though it is possible to use large in-game objects as makeshift steps. The game emphasizes group problem-solving, making teamwork essential.

Megaphones can be held in a player's hands or placed on a backpack, but they cannot be attached to side satchels.

There are three primary locations on the island where these megaphone-bearing structures can be found:

  • On the northern part of the island, situated on a cliff north of the yellow tower.
  • Within a forest, located to the east of the green tower.
  • Along the southern shoreline. For this location, it is recommended to activate the green tower and utilize the ski lift to reach the structure. Alternatively, a path leads to the building in the southeast corner of the map, or players can swim around the southwest corner.
