Predator Pals are boss-level encounters found throughout the game world. They are easily distinguishable from their regular counterparts by their glowing red eyes. While they are significantly more powerful and dangerous than standard Pals, their weaknesses mirror those of their normal versions. For instance, a Predator Lovander, though more aggressive and damaging than a regular Lovander, shares the same vulnerability to Dragon-type attacks.
Players can find the general locations of these formidable creatures marked on various in-game maps, with resources like Map Genie providing detailed representations. Successfully defeating these tougher foes rewards players with the coveted Predator Cores.
Once obtained, Predator Cores can be utilized in crafting several important items. These include the Meowmere Weapon and the Terra Blade Weapon, as well as various tiers of pouches such as the Small Pouch, Medium Pouch, Large Pouch, and Giant Pouch, all of which significantly increase a player's carry capacity.
