Implants in Palworld offer a powerful method to customize the passive skills of your Pals, bypassing the often time-consuming process of breeding. These valuable items can be found, purchased, or even forged.

To begin altering your Pals' abilities, you will need to unlock and construct the Pal Surgery Table. This technology becomes available at level 38 in the Technology Tree. Once the table is built, you can select a Pal from your party, interact with the table, choose the implant you wish to apply, and specify which existing passive skill you want to replace or augment. A gold fee is required to complete the surgery and apply the implant.

Acquiring Implants

There are several ways to acquire Implants beyond the default ones unlocked immediately upon building the Pal Surgery Table.

Bounty Officers

By hunting hostile soldiers across the Palpagos Islands, players can earn Bounty Tokens. These tokens can be exchanged for various Implants with a Bounty Officer. One such officer can be found near the Small Settlement Fast Travel Point in Verdant Brook, close to the Kingpaca Alpha Pal marker. The location of the Small Settlement containing a Bounty Officer is labeled on the map in Palworld. The Bounty Officer offers Implants such as Musclehead, Burly Body, Artisan, Vanguard, Stronghold Strategist, Motivational Leader, and Wellness Watcher. The Implants in the Bounty Officer's inventory in Palworld are shown.

Arena Battles

Participation in PvP or PvE battles on Arena Island rewards players with Battle Tickets. Similar to Bounty Tokens, these tickets can be traded with the Arena Merchant for Implants. Arena Island is located south of the Dessicated Desert at coordinates (635, 16). The location of Arena Island is labeled on the map in Palworld. The Arena Merchant provides Implants including Serenity, Infinite Stamina, Runner, Ace Swimmer, Noble, Healing Coach, and Reload Master. The Implants in the Arena Merchant's inventory in Palworld are shown.

Ancient Relic Recycler

Players who reach the World Tree in Version 1.0 of Palworld can obtain Ancient Relics by defeating powerful Pals. These relics can be processed in the Ancient Relic Recycler, a device unlocked at level 74 of the Technology Tree. This method offers a more randomized approach to acquiring Implants, along with other valuable items like Blueprints and Gems.
