Bellanoir, a potent Dark-type Pal in Palworld, boasts one of the game's highest Attack stats and can unleash a volley of devastating missiles during combat. Unlike many Pals, Bellanoir cannot be found in the overworld. Instead, players must summon it using a Bellanoir Slab at a Summoning Altar.
The Summoning Process
To begin the process of acquiring Bellanoir, players first need to construct a Pal Expedition Station at their base, an item available from the Technology Tree at Level 22. From this station, players must send Pals on expeditions to specific dungeons: the Forest Secret Realm, Volcanic Inferno Cave, Hidden Ruins of the Desert, and Ancient Feybreak Remains. These expeditions are necessary to gather four Bellanoir Slab Fragments. Once collected, these fragments can be used at a Workbench to craft a Bellanoir Slab.
The next step involves building a Summoning Altar, which becomes available at Level 33 in the Technology Tree. After the altar is constructed, players can use the crafted Bellanoir Slab to initiate a fight against a Level 35 Bellanoir. When using the Bellanoir Slab, players will be presented with a choice between fighting the Pal at their base or in a designated Raid Area. It is strongly recommended to select the Raid Area to prevent potential destruction of the player's base during the intense battle.
Upon successfully summoning and defeating Bellanoir, players will be rewarded with a Huge Dark Egg. This egg can then be placed in an Incubator, and after a period of incubation, it will hatch into the player's own Bellanoir.
Bellanoir Libero Variant
An alternative version, Bellanoir Libero, can be obtained through an identical process. The only differences are the requirement to collect and use a Bellanoir Libero Slab instead of a standard one, and that Bellanoir Libero will be encountered at Level 45.
Combat and Utility
Bellanoir's primary element is Dark, and it is particularly vulnerable to Dragon-type attacks. When defeated, it yields specific drops, though these are not detailed in the provided notes. Its Partner Skill, Nightmare Iris, allows Bellanoir to unleash a powerful Nightmare Ray at a targeted enemy.
In terms of base utility, Bellanoir possesses high Work Suitability levels in Transporting (Level 4), Handiwork (Level 5), and Medicine Production (Level 5). This makes it valuable for crafting medicine and managing base resources. However, its exceptional Attack stat also makes it a formidable companion for exploration and combat outside the base. Its maximum stats, depending on passive skills and bonuses, can reach considerable heights, particularly in Attack and Defense.
