Blazamut Ryu is a potent Dragon and Fire-type Pal in Palworld, offering significant advantages against Dark-type foes and enhancing the player's Dark-type attacks when mounted. Unlike many Pals, Blazamut Ryu cannot be found naturally in the game world. Instead, players must summon it using a Blazamut Ryu Slab at a Summoning Altar to obtain an egg.
The process begins with building a Pal Expedition Station at your base, available at Technology Tree Level 22. From there, players must send Pals on specific Expeditions, including the Frozen Cave of the Snow Mountain, Spirit Blossom Cave of Sakurajima, Dark Cave of Feybreak, and Ancient Feybreak Remains, until four Blazamut Ryu Slab Fragments are acquired. These fragments are then used to craft a Blazamut Ryu Slab at a Workbench. Subsequently, a Summoning Altar must be constructed, a structure unlocked at Level 33 in the Technology Tree. Using the crafted Blazamut Ryu Slab at the Summoning Altar initiates a battle against a Level 55 Blazamut Ryu.
It is strongly advised to choose the Raid Area option when summoning, rather than fighting at your base, to prevent potential damage to your structures. During the fight, a Ground-type Pal is recommended as a counter. Blazamut Ryu has a temporary typing change to Electric and HP regeneration when at low health, which Ground-types can effectively combat. Upon defeating Blazamut Ryu, players will receive a Huge Dragon Egg to incubate, which will eventually hatch into the desired Pal.
Blazamut Ryu's elemental typing is Dragon and Fire, making it weak to Water and Ice. Defeating it yields various drops, though these are not specified in detail. The Pal's Partner Skill, Dragon Kaiser, allows it to be mounted and enhances Dragon attacks while ridden. The Blazamut Ryu Saddle, required for mounting, is unlocked at Level 55 in the Technology Tree.
In terms of base work, Blazamut Ryu possesses Kindling Level 6 and Mining Level 7 Suitabilities, making it useful for powering furnaces, cooking, and mining ores. However, its utility as a mount that boosts Dragon attacks may often make it a more valuable asset for exploration and combat against Dark-type enemies. Its base stats include HP of 105, Attack of 130, and Defense of 125, with max stats reaching considerably higher with specific passive skills and bonuses.
