The microphone puzzle in the game Big Walk presents a unique audio-based challenge that requires players to identify a microphone producing balanced sound. This puzzle is located south of a radio station, in a field to the west of a prominent yellow tower. It features a chair with headphones situated on a red platform, behind which are six microphone stands.

To successfully navigate this puzzle, it is recommended that the player with the best hearing or a good pair of headphones or earbuds takes the seat. The core mechanic involves one player speaking into each microphone sequentially while another player, seated in the chair, listens to determine which microphone delivers clear audio to both ears. Using earbuds or headphones is crucial for accurately discerning the sound direction.

When a player speaks into a microphone, the listener in the chair must provide a signal to indicate their audio perception. For instance, if the sound is heard only in the left ear, the listener can raise their left hand, prompting the speaker to move to the right. If the sound is heard equally in both ears, signaling a perfect balance, both arms should be raised. Once the correct microphone is identified and the signal is given, the speaker can press a button on the microphone stand to advance. This process is then repeated for each microphone until the puzzle is fully solved.
