Players navigating A Plague Tale: Resonance may encounter difficulty with certain environmental puzzles. This guide provides solutions for the Watchtower puzzle in Chapter 3 and the Symbol Platforms puzzle in Chapter 5, enabling players to progress through Sophia's journey.

The Watchtower Puzzle (Chapter 3)

The Watchtower puzzle is found in Chapter 3 as players explore an island. After reaching a point that appears to be a dead end, the objective is to locate a house and solve a cross puzzle to open a path forward. The puzzle begins in an area with two column-arch ruins.

Players should turn around from the ruins and look left to find the remains of a house that matches a depiction in Sophia's book. Entering these ruins and looking out of the doorway will prompt an interaction, revealing the location of the watchtower in the center of the area.

Upon climbing the watchtower, players will find a stick with a circular hoop at the top. To solve the puzzle, this hoop must be positioned so that when viewed from Sophia's perspective, the stick within the hoop aligns with debris on the ground to form a complete 'X' shape, mirroring the marking in Sophia's book. The watchtower hoop and how it should align with ground debris to form an X.

Successfully aligning the hoop reveals a trap door, which leads to the next area. Players should proceed to the marked spot, clear away sand, and use the trap door to continue exploring the island.

The Symbol Platforms Puzzle (Chapter 5)

Chapter 5 presents the Symbol Platforms puzzle, which requires players to cross a series of platforms marked with different symbols without triggering spikes. Sophia's book provides the correct sequence of symbols for progression: Points, Squid, Points, Flower, Squid.

To safely navigate the initial set of platforms, players should face the puzzle and start on the second platform from the left, which bears the 'Points' symbol. From there, the route is as follows: right to the 'Squid', forward to 'Points', left to 'Flower', forward to 'Squid', and then forward again to 'Points'. At this point, players will reach a wall that can be climbed to a ledge above. Following this ledge path, which also contains the Scarab Amulet, will lead to a drop-off point. A path players can take along a narrow ledge after the first part of the symbol platform puzzle.

After dropping down onto the 'Points' platform below, players must continue to the end by proceeding across to the 'Flower' platform, then to the 'Squid', and finally forward to the 'Points' platform to reach the puzzle's conclusion.
