To add the mythical Pokémon Manaphy to your Pokédex in Pokémon Pokopia, players must acquire the Expansion Pass DLC. While Manaphy might appear in a free update scheduled for August 2026, unlocking it for your personal Pokédex necessitates this paid content.
Once the Expansion Pass is purchased, players need to navigate to Bubbly Basin and successfully complete the 'Build the beautiful building' Important Request. Manaphy is encountered at the conclusion of this questline, having seemingly taken up residence in the structure players have just helped construct. Following a cutscene, Manaphy will be registered in the Pokédex, enabling players to encounter it in various habitats.
For those aiming to complete the Manaphy evolution line, locating its pre-evolution, Phione, will also be necessary. The notes suggest that Manaphy's initial appearance in Bleak Beach, where it may teach the Dive ability, is temporary, as it quickly moves on to a new location. The method described above is the way to secure Manaphy permanently for your Pokédex.
