Mina the Hollower features 60 unique Trinkets, each offering distinct advantages to aid players. While many provide situational benefits, a select few stand out for their consistent power and utility across various challenges. This guide highlights six essential Trinkets that can form a robust endgame loadout, detailing their locations and offering alternatives for specific needs.

Essential Trinkets

The Proto Spark is arguably the most crucial Trinket, providing a valuable second chance upon death. This effect is instrumental in overcoming difficult platforming sections and tough boss encounters. While it doesn't fully restore health, the game's healing mechanic, which relies on dealing damage and using flasks, allows for recovery, especially if players are aggressive. To acquire the Proto Spark, players must defeat the Duke in Queensbury Crypt near the dungeon's conclusion. After defeating him, escort him to his tomb to receive the Trinket.

The Lace Glove offers a straightforward yet potent buff, increasing the Attack level by one. This Trinket allows players to exceed the normal maximum Attack stat of 10, reaching 11. A higher Attack power translates to faster boss defeats, fewer hits needed for basic enemies, and a larger heal pool replenished upon hitting foes. The Lace Glove is found after helping children defeat a bunny boss located in the southeast corner of the outskirts area near Ossex.

Similar to the Lace Glove, the Twill Weave Trinket provides a significant defensive boost, increasing the Defense level by one. This enhancement effectively raises a player's survivability by reducing incoming damage, making the Proto Spark even more valuable. The Twill Weave is located in Nox's Bayou. After encountering the area's sea monster, look for platforms on the left and a lake on the right. A dangling rope on the north side of the lake leads to the top of the falls, where the Trinket can be found.

The Plasma Funnel is a helpful Trinket that doubles the speed at which Plasma Vials are consumed and prevents losing them when hit. While skilled players might forgo it, it significantly reduces the punishment for mistakes during healing, making the game's aggressive healing mechanic more forgiving. This Trinket can be purchased from Lady Susan in the Ossex Trinket shop for 700 Bones.

Iron Lung enhances the player's burrowing ability by increasing maximum burrow time, which is particularly useful underwater. Since burrowing often grants invulnerability and is essential for environmental puzzles and evading certain enemy attacks, extending this duration is always beneficial. The Iron Lung is located on the western side of Nox's Bayou, in an area called the Moonlit Path. After defeating the 'evil moon' in a lily pad jumping puzzle, the Trinket can be found in a chest within a house containing a mirror.

Fly Bait is an early-game Trinket that remains useful throughout the journey. It summons friendly flies upon defeating enemies, which then attack other foes. This Trinket can provide significant supplemental damage, even bypassing enemy shields, and is effective for managing crowds or assisting against bosses. Fly Bait is obtained in Queensbury Crypt after repeatedly encountering and eventually defeating Midden in a duel.
