NBA 2K26 locker codes act as a regular route for players to snag free boosts and select MyTeam cards. For January 2026, Visual Concepts has issued a slate of live codes that can deliver three-game boost packages, Amethyst players, and other rewards. The cadence is irregular, with codes tied to holidays, milestones, or player anniversaries, and there is no fixed schedule. This guide consolidates the current active codes, alongside expired entries and a quick redemption refresher.
Current working codes for January 2026 include FREE-BOOSTS, which grants three games of boosts (skill and Gatorade); NEW-YEARS-GAME-CHANGERS, a five-card package; MT-EDWARDS-AND-JOKIC, an Amethyst Anthony Edwards and Nikola Jokic; MT-MITCHELL-BRUNSON, Amethyst Donovan Mitchell and Jalen Brunson; MT-HOLIDAY-BANNER, a holiday banner; HAPPY-HOLIDAYS-FROM-MyTEAM, a Pink Diamond drop featuring De’Aaron Fox, LaMarcus Aldridge, Michael Redd, Pascal Siakam, or Rudy Gobert; FLAGG-CURRY-MyTEAM, Amethyst Cooper Flagg and Stephen Curry; FOX-AND-SGA-IN-MT, Amethyst De’Aaron Fox and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The first code, FREE-BOOSTS, is evergreen and is set to last until 2028. Codes are not case sensitive, but dashes must be included as shown.
Expired codes include 2K26-CREATOR-CHALLENGE, 2K26-MYTEAM-GAME-CHANGERS, WNBA-IN-MYTEAM, FREE-WIN-IN-MYTEAM, NBA-TIP-OFF-IN-MYTEAM, MT-GAME-CHANGERS-PICK-3, MT-CHILLS-WILD-GEMS, MT-HALLOWEEN, MT-SWIFT-DROP, DELUXE-PACK-BALL-DROP, BOUNCE-MT-2K26, MT-THANKSGIVING, MT-PINK-DIAMOND-JALEN-JOHNSON, and DR-J-EXCHANGE-EVENT. These are listed as expired in the January guide, so attempting to redeem them will fail.
To redeem a locker code, players should go to the MyTeam section, open the Market tab, and select Locker Codes from the bottom of the Market menu. Enter the code and confirm; the game will display an on-screen confirmation and indicate what it added to the account. In MyCareer mode, the locker code page is accessible from the Options/Quit menu on the main screen, but the redemption flow remains the same as in MyTeam.
