Pokémon Pokopia has introduced a convenient shared storage system with the addition of the Portal Pod, following its 2.0.0 patch. This item allows players to access a universal storage space of 80 items from any Portal Pod placed within the game's various areas.

Obtaining the Portal Pod

To acquire a Portal Pod, players must first ensure they have downloaded the version 2.0.0 update for Pokopia. Subsequently, Palette Town must reach Environment Level 8 to unlock the Portal Pod recipe. Once unlocked, the recipe can be purchased for 3,000 Life Coins.

Crafting a Portal Pod requires specific materials, including Pokémetal. Pokémetal ore can be found in the Sparkling Skylands and Dragonite Doll Dream Island. To obtain Pokémetal from the ore, it must be smelted in a Furnace, a process requiring a Burn Pokémon.

Utilizing the Portal Pod

After crafting a Portal Pod, players can place it anywhere in Pokopia. Any items deposited into one Portal Pod will be accessible from any other Portal Pod placed throughout the game world. This facilitates efficient item management, allowing players to, for example, store metal bars near a crafting station and retrieve them later at a different location.

Players also have the option to pick up and relocate a Portal Pod without losing its contents, effectively treating it as a portable extension of their inventory. This can reduce the need to craft multiple Portal Pods.
