In The Blood of Dawnwalker, players face a critical 30-day time limit to rescue their family from Brencis. Fortunately, the moth-like Sanzhana offer a way to extend this crucial window by completing their quests. Beyond gaining extra time, assisting the Sanzhana is also necessary for obtaining Silk Threads, a key item for the Arbiter Suit of Armour quest. There are five Sanzhana locations, each with a unique quest, and completing them all will grant players a valuable extra day.

Good Home

The first Sanzhana quest, "Good Home," is initiated by following suspicious lights in the Svartrau Outskirts, which lead to a burrow known as the Yawning Burrow. Inside, a girl named Heile asks the player to find her brother, Tonis. This involves investigating the siblings' former home in Oghasti and the Wooden Palace, then inquiring about Tonis with the Coal Burner Chief, and finally tracking him by following tree markings in the woods. Upon Tonis's return, the player meets the Sanzhani Tsarina, who offers to relay messages to Lunka in exchange for assistance. Players can choose from several dialogue options, and a reply will be received after the next day/night cycle.

Tiny Dancer

Triggered by a sound near a Curious House in Svartrau City, the "Tiny Dancer" quest can only be completed at night. Players must use vampiric abilities to ascend the house and enter the attic. Inside, a cage key can be found and used to free another Sanzhana. This Sanzhana will inform the player that she will tell the Tsarina of their help and reveal the location of silver hidden under floorboards in another room. After dealing with a merchant, players will receive the Epic Amulet, Amulet of the Lizard, and the promised silver. The player can then return to the Yawning Burrow to send another message to Lunka.

Burrow Sorrows

South of Rockfalls and east of Svartrau Outskirts, a quest marker signals the "Burrow Sorrows" quest. A Sanzhana can be heard screaming, claiming her burrow was stolen and she was thrown out. Players are tasked with defeating the kobolds who have taken her home and retrieving a charm. After returning the charm, the Sanzhana reveals her deception and allows the player to keep the charm, along with the Sunbringer's Pendant, a Superior Amulet. Another message can then be sent to Lunka from the Yawning Burrow.

Pearly and Precious

In the forest north of Boar's Back, players will find a quest marker at an attacked camp, leading to a Sanzhana collecting teeth from a deceased individual. She claims to forage and trade with bandits. The player is sent to eliminate these bandits. Upon returning, the Sanzhana requests teeth, which can be obtained from fallen bandits or other bodies. In return, she offers wares for sale, including manuals, a Legendary Amulet, and crucially, Silk Threads. While this item is essential for the Arbiter's Suit of Armour quest, it is advisable to complete the "Come Hither" quest first to obtain Silk Threads for free.

Come Hither

The final Sanzhana quest, "Come Hither," is located south of Svartrau, indicated by another quest marker. Investigating a crying Sanzhana leads players into her ravaged burrow, where a Murohn must be defeated. Looting the burrow after the fight yields Silk Threads for free, as well as the Master Ring, the Band of Persistence, which provides damage reduction and health regeneration. With all five quests completed, players can visit the Yawning Burrow to receive their final reward: an extra day, which can be strategically used to tackle pressing objectives.
