The world of The Blood of Dawnwalker features over a dozen Ancient Circles scattered across Vale Sangora, each presenting a unique challenge to players. These landmarks allow players to summon vengeful spirits, and surviving these encounters yields valuable rewards, often in the form of skill manuals and powerful equipment.
To activate an Ancient Circle, players must interact with a glowing altar using the Astral Communion skill, which is part of the Witchcraft skill tree. This action is only possible during the daytime and consumes one Time Segment. Upon activation, players will face waves of specter and undead enemies, including Vidmos, Psoglavs, and Guardians. Successfully defeating these foes allows players to claim the treasure from a nearby chest.
Northern Vale Sangora Ancient Circles

The Silts Overgrowth Ancient Circle rewards players with the Perfect Riposte Manual and a set of epic Red Darksteel Bracers.
In the Hills of Tantari, the Perfect Riposte Manual is available, as well as the epic Highland Noble Surcoat. One of the enemy mobs in this area may also drop a Sharp Eye Manual.

The Blind Gorge Ancient Circle rewards players with the Artery Strike Manual, the epic Sanguine Bladedancer’s Tunic, and a recipe for Mortal’s Blood Infusion.
Finally, the Southwest Silts Ancient Circle provides the Restless Blade Manual and a recipe for Potent Vigor Infusion.
