Navigating the world of Palworld 1.0 is significantly enhanced by understanding which Pals offer the greatest mobility. For players prioritizing speed, focusing on Flying, Land, and Water mounts is key to efficient exploration and faster completion of objectives.
Fastest Land Mounts
The Necromus and Hartalis stand out as the swiftest land mounts in Palworld 1.0, with a top sprinting speed of 1,900. Paladius follows closely behind, boasting a speed of 1,800. While Necromus and Paladius can be found as Alpha Pals in the Dessicated Desert, Hartalis requires players to summon it as a Raid Boss via a Summoning Altar.
Unlocking the saddles for these Pals is a necessary step to utilize them as mounts. The Necromus Saddle and Paladius Saddle can be unlocked in the Technology Tree at Level 61, while the Hartalis Saddle becomes available at Level 70.
Speediest Flying Mounts
For aerial travel, the Jetragon is the fastest flying mount in Palworld 1.0, reaching a sprint speed of 3,300. Panthalus and Shaolong are also excellent choices, with speeds of 3,000 and 2,800, respectively. Eidrolon and Eidrolon Ignis are also recommended for their utility and a respectable top speed of 2,750, even if slightly slower than the absolute fastest.
Jetragon is located in the northwestern sky islands of Sunreach, while Shaolong can be found south of Dusty Ravine in the World Tree. Acquiring Panthalus involves completing the Ancient Civilization Researcher’s quest and defeating a Level 70 Panthalus as a Secret Raid Boss in the Desert Islet area. Eidrolon can be found as an Alpha Pal in the southwestern part of the Sunreach sky islands, and Eidrolon Ignis resides north of the Dusty Ravine in the World Tree.
It is worth noting that while Panthalus is fast, its large size can make it cumbersome to use in many combat scenarios. Therefore, Eidrolon and Eidrolon Ignis are often preferred for their balance of speed and practicality.
Saddle unlocks for these flying mounts vary in level. Jetragon's Missile Launcher requires Level 79, Shaolong Saddle is available at Level 77, Eidrolon Saddle at Level 68, and Eidrolon Ignis Saddle at Level 76. Panthalus does not have a specific saddle unlock requirement listed.
Swiftest Water Mounts
When traversing bodies of water, Neptilius offers the highest swim dash speed at 2,000. Chillet is a close second with 1,890, followed by Jormuntide at 1,800. These Pals are ideal for quickly moving across water surfaces.
Neptilius can be encountered as an Alpha Pal in the Isle of the Glacial Core. Chillet is found in various snowy regions, including the Frostbound Mountains and Astral Mountains, and also appears as an Alpha Pal in the Windswept Hills. Jormuntide can be found as an Alpha Pal east of Verdant Brook and in the eastern lake of Bamboo Groves.
To utilize these Pals as mounts, their respective saddles must be unlocked. The Neptilius Saddle is available at Technology Tree Level 64, the Chillet Saddle at Level 11, and the Jormuntide Saddle at Level 40.
