Finding the ocean pals rug in Pokémon Pokopia can be a challenge, as the game provides little direction when Stunfisk requests it. This decorative item is located in Bubbly Basin, an area filled with numerous wrecked houses, making the search feel like looking for a needle in a haystack. The rug itself is situated in a small house west of the daycare center.
To reach the house, players should cross the bridge north of Bubbly Basin's town center and then turn left. The rug can be found inside a red Poké Ball within this structure. The house also contains other useful items, such as a cushion bed that can be utilized for various basin habitats, including one for Chinchou.
Once the ocean pals rug is collected, players should return it to Stunfisk. While this action does not yield any material rewards, it fulfills Stunfisk's request and makes the Pokémon happy. Players will also be able to keep the rug for their own in-game display.
For those seeking additional ocean pals rugs, copies can be made using a 3D printer within the game. This requires taking a reference photo with the in-game camera and then spending rare Pokémetal to fabricate duplicates.
