Iron Ore can be found in abundance around the Witchspire itself, a prominent landmark early in the game. . It is also plentiful within the Shard Caverns in the Timberline Basin region. Access to these caverns is gained through the portal at the Al'uunian Tower, by proceeding right along the path.
