For a limited time, the 27-inch ASRock Phantom QHD 240Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor is available for $279 with free shipping from Newegg's official AliExpress storefront. To activate the discount, users must be signed into their Newegg account. The monitor ships from a Newegg warehouse in the United States and is expected to arrive within a week.
The ASRock Phantom PGO27QSA features a 27-inch QD-OLED panel with a 2560x1440 resolution, resulting in a pixel density of 109ppi. This resolution provides sharp clarity for both gaming and general workstation use. The monitor utilizes Samsung's quantum dot (QD) OLED panel technology, which offers brighter visuals and a wider color gamut compared to standard W-OLED panels. Like other OLED displays, it boasts instantaneous response times, true black levels, and an exceptionally high contrast ratio.
While many budget OLED monitors offer refresh rates between 120Hz and 165Hz, the ASRock Phantom supports a native 240Hz refresh rate. This high refresh rate is particularly beneficial for fast-paced games such as first-person shooters or sports titles, where quick reflexes are crucial. To take full advantage of the 240fps capability at QHD resolution, a powerful graphics card is recommended, such as an NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT. However, an RTX 5070 may achieve this frame rate in less demanding titles like Fortnite, Apex Legends, Counter-Strike, or Valorant. The monitor is not officially G-Sync validated but supports FreeSync, suggesting compatibility mode should function.
The ASRock Phantom comes with a two-year warranty, which should be honored through Newegg, as they are an authorized ASRock reseller.
