The Keychron K2 HE gaming keyboard, lauded for its sophisticated design and tactile experience, is currently available at a reduced price of $112 as part of Amazon's Prime Day event. This offer presents an opportunity to acquire a keyboard that eschews typical "gamer-chic" aesthetics for a more refined appearance.
The keyboard features Gateron magnetic double rail switches and double-shot PBT keycaps, contributing to a premium feel and an enjoyable typing and gaming experience. The model on sale includes decorative strips of rosewood on its sides, enhancing its distinctive look.
This 75% form factor keyboard omits a numeric keypad but includes all essential keys for general use, maintaining a compact footprint that allows for flexible desk positioning. Its connectivity options include both Bluetooth and a 2.4 GHz dongle-based connection, offering versatility for different setups. The chassis is noted for its robust build quality, with no discernible flex, further complemented by the sturdy frame and wood accents.
Previous assessments of the Keychron K2 HE, including a review of a similar model with a concrete frame, have highlighted its exceptional internal hardware and overall delightfulness for both typing and gaming. The design, combining solid construction with unique materials, positions it as a distinguished option in the current market for gaming peripherals.
