Leaked images suggest Logitech is preparing to release a new iteration of its flagship wireless gaming mouse, the Logitech G Pro X3 Superlight. The purported new model appears in an all-black color scheme, differing from the white and black options of its predecessor, the G Pro X2 Superlight. These images, shared by peripheral reviewer Jakeu, show a design that largely retains the familiar shape and button layout of the X2.

While the leaked images do not offer definitive technical specifications, prior speculation indicated that the X3 Superlight might not feature an upgraded Hero 3 sensor. Instead, the focus is said to be on an improved controller and refinements to Logitech's HITS (haptic-inductive trigger system). This system allows for analogue clicks, a feature not widely replicated by other manufacturers.

Details remain unconfirmed, but the visible design cues suggest the G Pro X3 Superlight may share the same shape, side buttons, and skates as the X2. Hopes for the new model include improved weight distribution for better balance and an overall reduction in weight, ideally closer to 50 grams rather than the current 60-gram range. A revised coating, potentially more textured, is also hinted at by the images.

If these leaks are accurate, more information is expected to surface around the Logitech G Play event scheduled for September. Pricing speculation suggests a retail price of approximately €190, a slight increase from the G Pro X2 Superlight's launch price. Such an increase, if accompanied by significant internal improvements or ergonomic enhancements, could justify the cost while retaining the unique HITS system.
