For those who prefer to savor their coffee throughout the morning or afternoon, the Nextmug self-heating mug offers a solution to lukewarm beverages. This device, which keeps drinks at a consistent temperature, is currently available for over 25% off during Prime Day, with the black color variant receiving a 31% discount.
The mug's primary advantage lies in its integrated heating element, differentiating it from external desktop mug warmers. This internal design mitigates concerns about accidental damage to nearby items, such as wires or electronics, which could occur with a hot external plate. The Nextmug operates by sitting on a charging base that itself remains cool to the touch, while the mug's interior is heated. For portability, the mug's battery can maintain a hot beverage for at least a couple of hours when off the base.
Users can select from three temperature settings—warm, hot, and piping—via a single button located at the mug's base. The Nextmug is also designed for easy cleaning and can be washed in a sink, provided it is dried thoroughly before being placed back on its charging base. Given its functionality for individuals who spend extended periods at their desks, it presents as a practical gift option for coffee drinkers.
