Nvidia's RTX 5070 graphics card is currently available at its lowest price of the year, with a PNY model listed at $560 on Walmart. This price point is only slightly above the card's original MSRP of $549 and matches the current lowest price for the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. The RTX 5070 generally outperforms the RX 9070 GRE but falls behind the RX 9070 in benchmarks.
In 1080p gaming, the RTX 5070 achieved 95 average FPS in Black Myth Wukong (High), 72 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 (RT Ultra), and 139 FPS in Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition (Ultra). At 1440p, these figures were 68 FPS, 45 FPS, and 100 FPS, respectively. For 4K gaming, the card delivered 37 FPS in Black Myth Wukong (High), 21 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 (RT Ultra), and 57 FPS in Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition (Ultra).
Meanwhile, the RTX 5070 Ti has also received a price cut, with an MSI version available for $900 at Newegg. While still a significant investment and outcompeted by the $700 Radeon RX 9070 XT in raw performance, this price represents the lowest the RTX 5070 Ti has been all year. The card is noted for its performance, overclocking potential, and effectiveness with multi-Frame Generation technologies when paired with a capable GPU.
These price drops place the RTX 5070 notably closer to its launch MSRP compared to the RTX 5070 Ti, which remains considerably above its original pricing.
