Nvidia's first consumer Arm-based processor, the RTX Spark, designed for both AI workloads and gaming, is set to launch in laptops this fall. While initial systems will be available from a select group of manufacturers, Acer and Gigabyte will release their RTX Spark-equipped laptops at a later date.

According to Nvidia, the initial RTX Spark systems will be available from Asus, Dell Technologies, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and MSI. The timing for Acer and Gigabyte's models was confirmed to be after this initial launch period. This staggered release approach means that consumers can expect to see the first wave of these new laptops appearing on the market this autumn.

The Surface Laptop Ultra was prominently featured with the RTX Spark at Computex, suggesting it may be among the first devices to reach consumers. MSI and Asus are also highlighted as the first Taiwanese companies to bring Spark laptops to market.

Nvidia has previously stated that RTX Spark laptops could potentially deliver high frame rates at resolutions like 1440p, even in thin form factors. The feasibility of these performance claims will likely depend on the specific thermal design power (TDP) and cooling solutions implemented by each manufacturer.

Alongside the hardware announcement, Nvidia also provided a closer look at DLSS 5 technology at SIGGRAPH 2026. This AI-powered upscaling technology is expected to launch this fall and may offer enhanced visual quality with controllable settings for developers. The combination of new AI-accelerated hardware and advanced graphics technologies could make the end of 2026 a notable period for PC gaming.
