As the cost of Valve's handheld PC continues to climb, deals on protective accessories have emerged, offering a way to safeguard existing devices. A 20% discount on Jsaux's ModCase is available for Prime Day, providing a protective shell for both the original LCD and newer OLED Steam Deck models.
The Jsaux PC0104 ModCase features a durable back shell for drop protection and a detachable front shell designed to shield the screen and analog sticks during transport. Constructed from eco-friendly PC-ABS and shock-absorbent TPU with textured edges for enhanced grip, the case is described as impact resistant.
While the ModCase offers external protection, it does not cover the screen from scratches during active use. To address this, a complementary deal on a Jsaux tempered glass screen protector, also discounted by 20% for Prime Day, is being offered. This combination aims to provide comprehensive protection against accidental damage.
The elevated price point of hardware, including the Steam Deck, makes investing in protective measures a prudent choice for many users. The current market conditions suggest that protecting existing investments is a practical approach until prices stabilize.
