Unico has announced the ULW10 Retro Gaming Monitor, a new device designed to replicate the experience of playing on the CRT televisions common in the 1990s. The monitor, also referred to as the "Traveler," sports a 10.1-inch display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, aiming to evoke the visual style of retro gaming.
The ULW10 supports five distinct input types: S-Video, RGB, RCA, VGA, and HDMI, allowing compatibility with a range of older consoles and modern devices. It will be available in three color schemes: off-white, black, and a red-and-white combination reminiscent of the Famicom. For on-the-fly adjustments, the monitor includes physical buttons and knobs on its rear for controlling volume and RGB settings. A detachable rear panel provides a space for storing cables and controllers.
In addition to the ULW10, Unico is also preparing to launch the Raiden R19 home arcade cabinet, which will come pre-loaded with titles from the classic shoot-'em-up series Raiden. The company also intends to restock its existing SNK MVSX cabinet.
A Kickstarter campaign for the ULW10 is scheduled to begin on August 20, with early-bird pricing anticipated to be around $279. Unico plans to showcase the ULW10 monitor alongside the Raiden R19 and SNK MVSX arcade cabinets at their booth during EVO 2026 this weekend.
