Xbox has unveiled a new range of officially-licensed gaming accessories dubbed the "Cozy Collection." This line, developed in partnership with peripheral manufacturers 8BitDo, SteelSeries, and KontrolFreek, introduces new colorways and nature-themed designs compatible with both Xbox consoles and PC.
The collection is characterized by its unifying palette of soft green and brown tones, a distinct pixel art style, and an overall "nature" aesthetic. Most items are available for purchase now, with the exception of the 8BitDo Ultimate 3 controller, which is slated for a September 29 release and is currently available for preorder.
Among the featured accessories are new color options for several of 8BitDo's existing peripherals. The retro mechanical keyboard, previously lauded for its rugged build and programming functionality, now comes in a "Forest Wonder" colorway. This design incorporates creatures and plants with pixel art, including crops on the WASD keys, and features RGB backlighting intended to mimic a forest at night.
Complementing the keyboard is the 8BitDo mouse, also in the "Forest Wonder" color scheme, designed to match the keyboard. Its pixel art is featured on the charging stand, and the accessory is entirely wireless. The 8BitDo Ultimate 3 controller, a customizable option previously reviewed as a "proper pro controller," receives a "Mossy Lagoon" makeover. This design introduces aquatic pixel creatures and mossy island-themed thumbsticks.
In addition to 8BitDo's offerings, the Cozy Collection includes SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds in new "Matcha" and "Yuzu" colorways. These premium earbuds have been highly rated for their quality.
