Preorders for Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the concluding chapter of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, are now live, with Square Enix offering a variety of editions for players to choose from. The game is scheduled for release on April 8, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
This installment promises an epic conclusion to the story that began with Final Fantasy VII Remake in 2020 and continued with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in 2024. Early gameplay previews suggest a significant focus on airship traversal and expanded chocobo-based combat mechanics.
Several editions of Final Fantasy VII Revelation are available:
Physical Editions
The Day One Edition, the standard physical release, includes the game itself along with a Magic: The Gathering - Final Fantasy Final Showdown promo card. The Deluxe Edition adds an exclusive steelbook case, a mini soundtrack, and the hardcover art book "The Art of Final Fantasy VII Revelation," in addition to the promo card.
For collectors, the Collector's Edition, exclusively available at the Square Enix Store, includes all items from the Deluxe Edition along with a Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth statue. Both physical Deluxe and Collector's editions are listed for PS5, Xbox, and Switch 2.
Digital Editions
The Digital Premium Edition is priced at $99.99 and includes digital bonuses such as the Story Expansion Pass, two planned story DLCs (Sephiroth, and Vincent & The Turks), the Reclaimant Choker & Survival Set, and 24-hour early access. The Digital Premium Plus Edition expands upon the Premium Edition by including the Story Expansion Pass, both Story DLCs (planned for Winter 2027 and Spring 2028 respectively), the Reclaimant Choker & Survival Set, 24-hour early access, a digital art book, a digital mini soundtrack, the "Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle Summoning Materia" preorder bonus, the Summoning Materia: Polydroid Alexander, the "Nymphwing Bracelet" armor (which slightly restores MP after battle), and the "Risk Take's Choker" accessory (which restores 25% HP when a Limit Break is used).
Trilogy Bundle
A digital-only Final Fantasy VII Remake Series Trilogy bundle, which includes all three games, is available for a discounted preorder price of $84.99 until April 7. The price will increase upon Revelation's launch.
Preorder Bonus
Regardless of the edition purchased, all preorders for Final Fantasy VII Revelation will include the "Mecha-Chocobo & Moogle Summoning Materia" as a digital in-game extra.
