Finji's supernatural action game, Usual June, has received an official launch date of October 28. The title, which was first revealed at The Game Awards 2023, centers on a college student named June who must confront the sudden emergence of monsters in her town of Fen Harbour.
The game tasks players with exploring the mystery behind disappearing ghosts and the town's monster problem. June, alongside her living and deceased companions, will work to save Fen Harbour.
Usual June features fast-paced melee combat where June wields supernatural weapons, including a large hammer, against her monstrous foes. Beyond combat, players will engage with spirits to uncover their memories, piecing together the truth of the unfolding disaster before time runs out for the spectral witnesses. The game is set to launch on PC, and a demo is currently available on Steam.
