Gundam Rogue Orbit, an action-driven Gundam game first revealed at Summer Game Fest 2026, now has a confirmed release date. Bandai Namco announced during Sony's September State of Play that the title will launch on March 5, 2027.
The game's narrative follows a protagonist pilot who, after being rescued adrift in space, is tasked with piloting a Gundam to combat new and unusual foes. These enemies are described as animal-like and distinct in design from those typically seen in other Gundam series, which is expected to differentiate the mech combat in Rogue Orbit.
Bandai Namco is aiming to attract a more action-oriented audience with Gundam Rogue Orbit. The game will feature hangar customization, which developers suggest evokes the feel of Gunpla building. Further details are anticipated as the March 5, 2027 release date approaches.
