Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Wilds will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 starting December 4. This release brings the popular 2025 monster-hunting action title, originally launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, to Nintendo's latest handheld-hybrid platform.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version will include all updates released for Monster Hunter Wilds to date. In addition to the base game, the launch will feature local play capabilities, allowing players to hunt monsters together with friends. Early impressions of the game running on the console suggest strong performance, a trend seen in other Capcom titles like Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata on the Switch 2.
Furthermore, the upcoming 2027 expansion for Monster Hunter Wilds, titled Ascendance, is also slated to release on the Nintendo Switch 2 next year.
